PURPOSE:To easily inspect a printed board by an instrument which inspects the arrangement state of electronic components on the printed board by using a board where components are accurately arranged as a mater board for component arrangement state recognition. CONSTITUTION:The board 1 made of acrylic resin is made as large as the printed board to be inspected. Electronic components P are accurately arranged on the board 1. Then the board 1 is illuminated by a fluorescent lamp 3 from below and a camera 5 is fitted on an XY stage 4 above the board 1 and moved freely to pick up the position of the electronic component P. Its image is AD- converted by a video processing part 6. Then an image processing part 9 finds the center of gravity of each image element and the vertex coordinates of the component and stores them in an image information memory 16, and they are used as necessary data for pattern recognition. Thus, the board where the components are accurately arranged is used as the master board for component arrangement state recognition, so the component arrangement state of the printed board is accurately inspected. |
