In the case of previous coaxial connecting devices, especially for a house interface point, costly installation and assembly work always had to be carried out in the past when changes resulted with respect to the connected number of loads and in the scope of the programmes and services covered. The object is to create a simpler solution for this purpose. In order to create extremely simple and problem-free matching to changed customer wishes, it is provided that the coaxial connecting device comprises a cable connection unit (1) and a complete apparatus (9) which is constructed such that it is isolated from said unit via an interface (7) and can preferably be connected via a plug connection on the cable connection unit (1). The cable connection unit (1) is connected to the broadband communications network via a feed coaxial cable and to the downstream consumer via an outgoing coaxial cable (3, 5). The complete apparatus (9) can be equipped in accordance with the consumer structure. Problem-free matching is possible by replacing the complete apparatus. The coaxial connecting device is particularly suitable for the interface between signal service providers and private end users, preferably at the so-called house interface point. <IMAGE>
