PURPOSE:To reproduce a simulated sound at plural listener positions with simple constitution and higher fidelity by correcting a simulated sound by one simulated sound generating means by an arrival delay time with the relative position from the sound source and a propagation attenuation data. CONSTITUTION:A sound generation simulating section 1 generates a sound from one sound source and stores it in a propagation delay memory 2 as a digital waveform. In this case, the sound pressure level written at first and the sound pressure level written in the next address are stored at a time difference by the sampling period. The simulated sound at the listener position is corrected by calculating a distance by a relative position calculation section 31 at first, calculating the delay time from the sound velocity and calculating the extraction address from the sampling period. The sound pressure level is read out of the relevant address of the memory 2, the attenuation level obtained from a propagation loss calculation section 5 is multiplied and an analog signal is reproduced from the data conversion section 61. |
