PURPOSE:To omit the confirmation of the communication received from the firmware that is performed by a system controller and to shorten the information processing time, by providing a means which gives a communication request to a system controller from the firmware of an arithmetic processor. CONSTITUTION:When a retry instruction ends normally, a firmware 170 stores the end state in a holding means 115 and a suppressing means 120 inhibits the updating of an arithmetic processor 100. Then a system controller 200 reads the information out of the means 115 by a request given from a communication request means 145. When the normal end of the retry instruction is confirmed, the controller 200 gives an instruction to a communication releasing means 150 to clear the holding information and to release the means 120. Then the controller 200 releases the request of the means 145 and sets the firmware 170 under a start waiting state. In such a constitution, a communication means is used in accordance with the communication type when the communication is carried out to the controller 200 from the firmware 170. Thus the controller 200 is not required to decide the communication type and the information processing time is shortened. |
