Clamping thimble

The clamping thimble 1 has two locking bolts 8 connected to the thimble core 7 via a cross pin and to one another via a yoke 19. A sleeve 21 passes through the yoke 19 lying above the thimble housing 4. The sleeve 21 has a nut 22, enclosing a screw bolt 27 and having an annular flange 23, and a polygonal spanner surface 25, 26. An annular collar 24 is provided in the approximately central vertical area. The screw bolt 27 is pivotably supported on the thimble housing 4. The thimble core 7 can be drawn into the thimble housing 4 or pushed out of it by displacing the sleeve 21 and supporting either the annular flange 23 or the annular collar 24 on the yoke 19. Instead of the nut connected to a sleeve, a nut through which a spindle passes can be mounted in the yoke. This spindle is then rotatably supported on the thimble housing. To release the thimble core, a locking member is then inserted into recesses in the nut of the yoke.
