<p>PURPOSE:To economically produce a large amount of an anthocyan dyestuff having high safety, useful as a dyestuff for foods, by cultivating callus of roselle in an auxin-containing medium. CONSTITUTION:Callus of roselle is cultivated in an auxin-containing medium to give the aimed dyestuff. 2,4-D (namely 2,4-dichlorophenoxy-acetic acid) is preferably used as the auxin. Linsmaier and Skoog medium is preferable as the medium.</p> |
