<p>PURPOSE: To improve chlorine-resistance of water pipe by using polyethylene resin added with carbon black as outer layer and using polyethylene resin added with zeolite as the inner layer of the water pipe. CONSTITUTION: For adding carbon black in (outerlayer) of water pipe made of polyethylene resin and adding zeolite in the inner layer, any of low density polyethylene, middle density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, single polymer, copolymer, etc., can be used as the polyethylene resin. Usable carbon black are furnace black and channel black, 1 wt.% to 5 wt.% of the carbon black may be added. There are A type, P type and X type in the zeolite and 0.1 wt.% to 2 wt.% of any type of the zeolite may be added. The result shows that durability of the water pipe is improved and peeling off of the inner layer caused by germicide chlorine used in water pipe is prevented.</p> |
