PURPOSE:To make it possible to form an oxide superconductor on any form of substrate by making a metal composing the oxide superconductor exist in an ion form in a molten salt, and electrolyzing it to deposit on a cathode substrate. CONSTITUTION:An oxide superconductor material is put in an electrolyte jar 2, heated by an electric furnace 3 to form a molten salt 1, a cathode base body 4 and an anode 5 are soaked in the molten salt 1, and a constant current is applied between the both electrodes from a DC power source 6 through lead wires 7 to form an oxide superconductor on the cathode base body 4 as a result. That is, a metal composing an oxide superconductor is made exist as ions in the molten salt 1, and can be deposited by the electrolysis. In such a way, the oxide superconductor can be formed on any shape of foundation metal. |
