PURPOSE:To satisfy the requirements of the surface form necessary for a photoconductive member, especially, for the supporting body of an electrophotographic sensitive body by providing the supporting body with a core member in the inside and on its outer periphery with a specified surface body. CONSTITUTION:The outer surface of the surface body 201 is treated by throwing fine rigid balls 203 specified in size at the surface to form ruggedness of plural spherical dents 204. The surface body 201 is composed of at least 2 layers of the core member 2, and the surface body 1 formed on the outer periphery of the core member 2 is made of a high-purity aluminum alloy as a base material, and contains fillers regulated to a size of <=10mum and it has a wall thickness of 0.5-2.0mm, thus permitting the obtained supporting body for the photoconductive member to have a surface of a desired form required especially for the surface of the electrophotographic sensitive body. |
