<p>PURPOSE:To obtain more accurate moving target data, without narrowing the width of a gate for taking out the moving target data, by increasing the level of the averaged output of signals corresponding to the moving target data. CONSTITUTION:In a blanking filter 10, unnecessary data such as ground clutter are removed from the output signal of an A/D converter circuit 4. At this time, the amplitude values of weather data such as rain are also decreased. Therefore, the output signal of the blanking filter 10 is amplified in a gain adjusting circuit 13 in the next stage so that the amplitude values of the weather data in the output signal of the converter circuit 4 become the same as the amplitude values of the weather data in the output signal of the blanking filter 10. Namely the amplitude of the gain adjusting circuit 13 is made variable so that the weather data in both outputs approximately agree. Then, a comparing and selecting circuit 14 compares the output signal of the adjusting circuit 13 with the output signal of the converter circuit 4. The signal having the smaller amplitude is outputted and supplied to an averaging circuit 11. The gate signal, which is generated in a detecting circuit 12 in this way, has a large time interval and is more suitable for actual weather data.</p> |
