PURPOSE:To enable to adjust freely the heating start time, heat generating temperature and heating duration by a method wherein a bag body formed of a sheet having surface water absorption properties and air permeability, a compound mainly composed of an iron powder and a metallic acid is filled into said bag and sealed. CONSTITUTION:An exothermic objet is mainly composed of an iron powder and a metallic acid (an example, potassium chloride), said compound is contacted with a water and an air supplied from the outside of the exothermic object, then the compound generates the heat by utilizing the oxidative reaction of the iron powder. In this chemical pocket warmer, a bag body is formed of a sheet having surface water absorption properties and air permeability, while said compound is filled into the bag and sealed. A water carrier in which a water is absorbed is introduced to the exothermic object, then the heat generation is started. The heating start time, heat generating temperature and heating duration are adjusted freely. |
