The bread slicing machine cuts several parallel loaves (1) supported on a table with a feed (2). The slicer has several endless sawbelts, running over a bottom roller (3) and top roller (4). Horizontal shafts (6, 7) are on one side fixed to frame (8). Bottom roller (3) is driven by a motor (9) and V-belt (10). The parts of the saw belt cross each other between rollers (3, 4). Above and below the saw belt crossing-point, guides (13) contacts the saw belt sections (5', 5"). The distance between the guides determines the loaf slice thickness.
