PURPOSE:To enhance mass productivity and to sustain effective and enduring curling preventive effect by forming a resin layer specified in film thickness on the reverse side of a base body. CONSTITUTION:The resin layer to be formed on the reverse side of the base body has a film thickness of 0.8-1.2K.t, where K is a volume ratio of a binder resin to the total volume of a photosensitive layer, and (t) is the thickness of the photosensitive layer. A low-molecular weight organic substance or an inorganic substance having photoconductive activity in the photosensitive layer has almost negligible effect on the curling action. A functionally sufficient curling preventive effect can be obtained by coating the reverse side with a resin same as that used for the photosensitive layer in a thickness of K.t. A practically sufficient film thickness of the preventive resin layer is in the range of 0.8-1.2K.t, and the curling preventive effect are found in the case of using various kinds of resins in said range, thus permitting the obtained curling preventive method to be adapted to mass production and not to be deteriorated with the lapse of time. |
