Latching elements (7, 10), which correspond in pairs, for the detachable connection of two parts (1, 2) have allocated to them, on one of the two parts (1), an auxiliary latch (11, 28) which, during unlatching for the purpose of releasing the connection, allows a blocking position of in each case one of the corresponding latching elements to be passed by in which the corresponding latching partners (7, 10) are held at a distance from one another until the two parts (1, 2) have separated from their connecting position. One configuration according to the invention is especially worthwhile for releasing a latching connection where a plurality of spaced-apart latching points consisting of latching elements (7, 10), which correspond in pairs, result in the common connection between two parts (1, 2) which are connected to one another, but which must be unlatched individually for releasing.
