发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SI CONCENTRATION MOLTEN IRON IN BLAST FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To freely control Si content in tapping molten iron by mixing fine powdered coal fly ash from a tuyere in blast furnace operation to blow in the furnace and adjusting the fly ash quantity. CONSTITUTION:As the molten iron is produced as raw material for steel making in the ordinary operation of a blast furnace, the molten iron having low Si quantity, such as 0.3-0.4% Si as impurity is produced. As pig iron for casting is high Si-contained pig iron, such as 1-2% Si, in case of needing production of the high Si pig iron for casting during producing the low Si pig iron of the raw material for steel making in the same blast furnace, the fly ash having about 50% SiO2 content is blown from the tuyere 2 in the blast furnace into the tuyere 2 through a reserver tank 7 and a discharging tank 3 from an inlet 6. Adjustment of Si content in the molten iron is executed to the using quantity of the fly ash.
