摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the state of a superconducting line of a power device which employs a superconduction in noncontact by radiating a microwave having a smaller energy than that corresponding to an energy gap in the normal conductive state of a substance to a substance used as an electroconductive line in a superconducting state to measure its reflectivity and transmittivity. CONSTITUTION:A waveguide 8 for radiating a microwave from an oscillation tube 7 to the sidewall of a tank 2 filled with a superconducting winding 1 is mounted at the lead 3 of a winding to detect a reflected microwave. To measure it, the reflectivity and transmittivity of the substance of the superconducting line in both superconducting state and normal conducting state to a radio wave having a shorter wavelength than the microwave are measured in advance, the microwave having smaller energy than that corresponding to an energy gap in a normal conducting state is irradiated, and the reflected wave and transmitted wave of the microwave reflected in the superconducting line are detected. The reflectivity and the transmittivity are measured by the ratio of the power of the radiated microwave to the power of the radio wave reflected and transmitted are measured, compared with the data measured in advance to grasp the state of the superconduction of the superconducting line.
