PURPOSE:To impart a sharp rugged pattern having a three-dimensional feeling, by a method wherein a plastisol or the like containing an inorganic filler consisting of hollow bodies is mechanically foamed, is then melted by heating to produce a foamed body, and a rugged pattern is produced by emboss rolls or the like. CONSTITUTION:A plastisol or latex containing an inorganic filler consisting of hollow bodies is mechanically foamed by a high-speed agaitator, a Mond mixer or the like to produce a foamed material. The foamed material is applied onto a base in a predetermined thickness by a knife coater or the like, and is then melted by heating in a hot-air drying furnace to produce a mechanically foamed sheet. The thus obtained sheet is mechanically embossed by emboss rolls or emboss press plates. Particularly when a foamed material obtained by using 3- 10wt.pts. of an inorganic filler per 100wt.pts. of a resin component is used, a sharp three-dimensional feeling is imparted to the rugged pattern. |
