1. A storage system having a load carrier (1) which is movable along storage frames (2) with bins in honeycomb arrangement and which is provided with at least one lift stage (20) comprising a working platform (35) and a platform (40) for the stored articles whereby this last said platform (40) is provided with an intermediate storing device (50) and a handling device (45) for said articles characterised in that the intermediate storing device (50) has at least one means (60) for receiving chosen pieces of said articles, that this receiving means (60) is provided with upwardly extending tines (51) subdividing the width of the receiving means into compartments (58) in which the respective charge of the articles can be intermediary stored, and that the handling device (45) comprises a crane apparatus (30) serving for displacement of the pieces of the stored articles perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the intermediate storing device (50). |
