PURPOSE:To attempt the improvement of both the durability and reliability of a control solenoid by providing both a target capacity operating means operating the target capacity of a compressor and a control means controlling both an inverter and an unloading mechanism so as to regulate the operating capacity of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:An inverter 2a regulating variably the operating frequency of a compressor 1, and an unloading mechanism 2b regulating decreasingly the capacity of the compressor 1 by a solenoid 2c are provided so as to control the operating capacity of the compressor 1 in multi-stages. And only when the operating frequency of the compressor 1 is regulated by the inverter 2a in proximity of the maximum value, and of the minimum value, the unloading mechanism 2b is adequately suspended and is operationally controlled so as to keep the condition of the unloading mechanism 2b as long as possible. This constitution enables the 'ON' and 'OFF' actuation of a control solenoid to be lessened in frequency, thereby enabling the improvement of the durability and reliability thereof. |
