PURPOSE:To defoam continuously and very efficiently, by a method wherein a mat type sheet, in which adhesive liquid such as resin or the like is supplied, is defoamed by reciprocating a roll, on the surface of which a multitude of peripheral grooves are provided in parallel, while applying a pressure thereon. CONSTITUTION:Adhesive liquid 3, such as resin or the like, is impregnated into a mat type sheet 2 such as non-woven cloth or the like supplied continuously by a belt conveyer 1. A roll 4, provided with a multitude of peripheral grooves 4A,..., 4A on the surface thereof, is reciprocated on the mat type sheet 2, supplied with the adhesive liquid 3 such as resin or the like, substantially orthogonally in the advancing direction of the mat type sheet 2 along the whole width B of the sheet 2 to apply a pressure on it. When the resin 3 is supplied onto the mat type sheet 2, supplied continuously, by a doctor knife 7, the roll 4 may be reciprocated in a resin reservoir 3'. Air is extruded sequentially in such a manner, therefore, resin impregnating property may be improved. |
