PURPOSE:To prevent transmission from being impossible by providing a detecting means to detect the number of the signal lacks of a reproduced video signal, a retrying means to retry once, at least, a reproducing from a recording medium according to the detected result and an instructing means to instruct the execution or the stop of the transmission based on the number of the signal lack in the case of the retrial. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 12 ends a memory freeze operation the number of the drop-out of the image data in a memory circuit 36 is checked. When the drop-out number is counted, the drop-out number DC is decided whether it is less than a prescribed value or not. When it is over the prescribed value, the memory freeze is executed again, the drop-out number is checked, and compared with the drop-out number checked in a preceding time. When the drop-out number is not decreased by a re-freeze, since a trouble in a reproducing step can be estimated, a warning is executed and a timer is started. Thus, a user can select the execution or not-execution of the transmission after seeing the warning. Accordingly, since the final decision of the transmission can be executed by an operator, operability is improved. |
