In a process for the production of filter hoses from a web of filter material, the latter is wound spirally on itself and sewn together. At the same time, during the sewing together, a fold extending towards the preceding seam is sewn into the web of filter material. This takes place in that, shortly before the sewing together, a folding of the web of filter material for fold formation takes place via a step formed from a foot and from a support of a sewing appliance. |
