PURPOSE:To realize the production of a job control program and to reduce the program producing load of a producer by having input of both the description of a system structure and a producing instruction of a job control program. CONSTITUTION:The description of a system structure received from an input device 1 is stored in a system structure description memory part 2 and then displayed at a display part 3. At the same time, a producing instruction of a job control program given from the means 1 is stored into a job control program producing instruction memory part 4 and then supplied to a converting means 5. The means 5 selects the system component elements and the relative system constitution relation out of the contents of the part 2 based on the producing instruction and converts them into the variable data to send this data to a variable data memory part 6. A production means 8 supplies the contents of a job control program describing rule memory part 7 to a buffer for each record and replaces the name referred to at a variable part and coincident with the name given from the part 6 with the value of the variable data. Then the means 8 produces a job control program and stores it into a job control program memory part 9. Thus a job control program is produced from the input system structure description.
