In a pressure storage room, the water level in a water/air container 1 is controlled by activating a water pump 3 with a level indicator 8. A minimum pressure in the air quantity 14 in the container 1 is maintained by introducing compressed air from a compressed air source 15 - 19 containing a pressure reducer valve 19 with check valve function.
