PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of an ion selection electrode signal processing system by arranging an ion detector which has ion selectivity at the gate electrode of a MOS transistor (TR), and converting a voltage obtained by the ion detector into a pulse train signal and inputting it through a photocoupler. CONSTITUTION:The titled system is equipped with an ISFET detection part 1 which has an ion-selective organic film 12 on an insulating gate 11, a VF conversion part 2 which digitizes an analog signal, the photocoupler 3, etc. Then, the detection part 1 detects an analog signal proportional to the ion concentration in a sample and a conversion part 2 converts the input analog signal into a serial pulse train. Then the digitized signal is inputted to a reception-side circuit 4 and a CPU 5 through the photocoupler 3. Then the signal is digitized to eliminate noise generation and the photocoupler 3 insulates the photodetection part 1 from the circuit 4, etc., electrically. |
