Boot-shaped edging in cement concrete moulded in a hydraulic press. The invention concerns boot-shaped edgings which allow the edges of roads to be defined and stabilised. The boot-shaped edgings of figure 1 are laid on a bed of mortar 1 on a formation level of compacted ballast 2. They define the edges of roads. Haunching in concrete 4 may be provided if required. The last layer(s) of road finish 5 are supported by the boot-shaped edging. Backfill 6 will stabilise the boot-shaped edgings. The invention is particularly intended for public works. <IMAGE>
