PURPOSE:To prevent a flaw on the surface of a heating roller and contamination of a pressure roller, by constituting a brush of the pressure roller, of many fibers and a coating layer for covering the surface of each fiber. CONSTITUTION:A brush 12 of a pressure roller 10 is constituted of many fibers 12b, and a coating layer 12c consisting of a resin or rubber for covering the surface of these respective fibers 12b, and placed in a state that the tip of the brush 12 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of a heating roller 1. In this state, when both the rollers 10, 1 rotate, the tip of each fiber 12b of the brush 12 repeats to come into contact and to be separated with and from the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 1. In this case, as for each fiber 12b, the coating layer is formed on its surface, therefore, it is repeated smoothly to come into contact and to be separated with and from the outer peripheral surface of heating roller 1. In such a way, it can be prevented that a flaw is generated due to the brush on the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller and the pressure roller is contaminated due to a toner. |
