A corner and/or through connector for multicore electrical flat ribbon cables has a number of electrically conductive contact discs (38, 40, 42, 44) corresponding to the number of flat ribbon cables (62), which contact discs (38, 40, 42, 44) are stacked one on top of the other in an isolating manner, concentrically, by means of insulating plates. The contact discs have insulation-piercing contacts (50) which project at right angles and are arranged offset eccentrically at an angle with respect to one another. The mutually corresponding insulation-piercing contacts (50) of the various contact discs in each case form a group and are spaced apart from one another within the group at a separation which corresponds to the separation between the cores of the flat ribbon cable. The sequence of the connecting contacts (50) of the various contact discs in one group is opposite to the sequence in the other groups. <IMAGE>
