<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a plurality of paper sheets from being taken out, so as to appropriately feed paper sheets one by one by providing a brake which is located at a position facing paper sheets and has a flexible part abutting against a conveying roller. CONSTITUTION:An adjust plate 22 is slidably attached to the outer surface of a partition plate 15 in opposite to a conveying roller 16, and a brake pad 23 made of a flexible material, such as synthetic resin or the like which has a relatively high friction coefficient but is soft is attached to the outer surface thereof in opposite to stacked paper sheets (a). When a paper sheet (a) is fed out toward the position of the conveying roller 16 by the rotation of a kick roller 14, a plurality of paper sheets (a) are sometimes simultaneously fed out due to friction force or the like between paper sheets or the like. Then, the leading end part of the paper sheets (a) abuts against the brake pad 23 so that the paper sheets (a) in the upper layer part is separated from the lowermost layer, thereby the conveying roller 16 takes out the lowermost one sheet only due to the abutting.</p> |
