<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the programming time even if debug is required by providing a backup power supply for data storage in a package in a flat package memory with the RAM accommodated therein and connecting the power supply in parallel with the RAM. CONSTITUTION:A static RAM 2 incorporating a voltage detection IC element 6 in the flat package 1 and a backup power supply 4 for storing RAM data are provided and plural connection pins 3 are provided to the outer periphery of the package 1. The package 1 is constituted in this way and the power line 5 is connected to the RAM 2 and the backup power supply 4 is connected in parallel with the RAM 2. In this case, the voltage level of the power supply 4 is set slightly lower than the voltage level applied through the power line 5. Moreover, a voltage detection IC element 6 is connected in parallel with the RAM 2 and a data storage mode command S is sent to the RAM 2 when a voltage lower than the voltage level of the power line 5 and higher than the voltage of the power supply 4 is detected.</p> |
