<p>A fuel pellet stack is fed into a fuel pin by a linear vibrator (72, 74, 76, 78) arrangement which imparts both vertical and horizontal components to structure (10) supporting the pin (84) and the pellet stack (82) and is arranged to adjust automatically the phase relation between the vertical and horizontal components to reverse motion of the pellet stack in the even of a jam condition arising.</p> |
