PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain an Al clad steel excellent in bonding strength and shape by specializing a heating temperature and a total draft of the Al clad material and restraining the camber caused by rolling on a table of an output side. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the bonding side of a carbon steel base material 2 is polished and kept at such a temperature that a thin scale is not generated in the atmosphere. The Al clad material 4 is supplied to a rolling mill in such a heating state that the temperature immediately before rolling is >=350 deg.C. Rolling and press contacting are carried out on the condition that the total draft gamma of the clad material satisfies an inequality (in the formula, T is the temperature deg.C indicated immediately before the Al clad material is rolled). The clad material is supplied to the rolling mill superposing the Al clad material 4 on the carbon steel base material 2 on the table 1 of an input side and the camber generated by rolling is restrained on the table 6 of the output side. In this manner, the Al clad steel excellent in bonding strength can be provided efficiently without generating poor bonding and camber by temperature. |
