PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductor which attains superconductive state at above the b.p. of a liquid N2 by calcining a compression-molded body of a powder mixture consisting of Y, Sc and La, etc. Sr or/and Ca, and at least one kind among Cu, Zn, Ni, etc. at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:Powders consisting primarily of Y, and at least one of Sc, La, Nd, etc. as a first component (A1), powdery Sr or/and Ca as a second component (A2) are mixed with at least one kind among powdery Cu, Zn, Ni, etc. as a third component (A3). After compression-molding an obtd. powder mixture, the compression-molded product is calcined at 950-1,200 deg.C in oxidizing atmosphere to obtain thus a superconductor comprising a sintered body having K2NiF4 structure contg. rhombic crystals. A1, A2, and A3 are contained in the sintered body in the proportion defined by the inequalities: 10<=A1<=60 atomic %, 20<=A2<=50 atomic % and 30<=A3<=65 atomic %. |
