<p>PURPOSE:To maintain cooling effect of coil, by opening a running wind intake of a protection cover while inclining against the direction of wind flow and arranging a dust-roof member at an open end while inclining by same angle. CONSTITUTION:A protection cover 14 for a coil 10 has a running wind intake 25 at front end in driving direction of vehicle and the intake 25 is inclined downward against the flowing direction of running wind A. A dust-proof member, i.e., a metal mesh 26, is stretched with the same inclination at the open endface of the wind take-in port 25. Consequently, even if a large paper chip B such as a news paper flies and collides against the intake 25 of the protection cover 14 when the vehicle is running, the paper chip B is fed to the underside along the inclination by means of the running wind A. As a result, the cooling effect of the coil 10 is maintained.</p> |
