<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a standard type cassette and to improve the maintainability of an adapter for a small-sized tape cassette by incorporating the adapter and providing a means which moves the standard type tape cassette and a tape driving device. CONSTITUTION:When the standard type tape cassette 27 is inserted into a standard type tape cassette holder 11, a cassette holder slide arm 15 rotates around a holder synchronizing shaft 18, and the standard type tape cassette 27 is guided to the position where it can be loaded on the tape driving device 20, which moves as shown by A to perform recording and reproduction. Further, when the operation switch of a front panel 2 is pressed after a small-sized cassette is loaded in the adapter 8 from a small-sized tape cassette insertion slot 6, the tape driving device 20 moves as sown by A and the small-sized tape cassette is recorded and reproduced at the position of the tape driving device 20.</p> |
