PURPOSE:To improve the color reproducibility and the gradient of the titled material by incorporating a DIR compd. in at least one layer of the photographic constituting layer and at least one kind of the IRR compd. in at least one layer of the photographic constituting layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of the photographic constituting layer contains the DIR compd. and at least one layer of the photographic constituting layer contains at least one kind of the IRR compd. The DIR compd. is composed of a compd. capable of releasing a development retarder or a compd. which is able to liberate said retarder by allowing to react with the oxidant of a color developing main agent. The DIR compd. is exemplified by preferably a diffusible DIR compd. And, the IRR compd. is composed of a compd. capable of releasing finally said retarder by allowing to oxidation during a development processing. Thus, the color photosensitive material having the excellent color reproducibility and the improved gradation is obtd. |
