The inflating equipment is particularly for tyres, having a reservoir filled with inert gas. It has a holder (1), in which one or more cartridges (4) acting as reservoirs can be accommodated. A pressure head (6) can be coupled to the holder, and has a pin (16) puncturing the cartridge and containing a passage (15) through which the gas flows. A valve connection on the head is secured to the tyre etc. and is connected to the passage through the pin. There can be a threaded portion on the head, screwing into the holder.
