<p>PURPOSE:To fix the outputted number of targets even when the number of targets is increased due to the fluctuation of a clutter characteristic, by varying a target detection threshold coefficient on the basis of a difference in the number of detected targets between primary and secondary radars. CONSTITUTION:Either a normal video signal or a processed video signal inputted is selected by a selecting unit 1 and given to a threshold level generating unit 3 through a mean amplitude level calculating unit 2. A threshold control signal generating unit A generates a threshold control signal on the basis of a difference between the number of targets of a primary radar outputted from a target data extracting unit 5 and the number of targets detected by a secondary radar, and a threshold coefficient of the threshold level generating unit 3 is increased or decreased by said signal. Using this threshold, a target detecting unit 4 detects a target in a selected video signal 103. On the basis of a target detection signal thus obtained, a radar bearing signal, etc., the target data extracting unit 5 outputs primary radar target data 503 and supplies same to a computer for tracking processing.</p> |
