Electronic diary system characterised in that it includes, face to face, two flat, liquid-crystal screens, preferably active-matrix type, and two separate memories: a first memory recording, by keyboard writing and by manual writing, carried out with the aid of an electronic pen, the information items written on the boxes for each day of the week of the diary, which are identical to the boxes in conventional office diaries, the information contained in this first memory being erased at the end of the 365th day of the year, or of the 366th day in the case of a leap year, counting from the first entry and the second memory which records, in the same way, the information items which have to be kept beyond this term as well as the items of permanent information.
