PURPOSE:To enable an instruction to be retried when a hardware trouble occurs by executing arithmetic operation and write with an identical cycle and maintaining the information of one cycle before the hardware trouble occurs. CONSTITUTION:When data is written in a register file 1 according to the execution of the instruction the information maintained in the register file 1 before rewriting is maintained by a first register 6, register positional information on which information maintained in the first register 6 is written is maintained by a second register 7. Besides a flip-flop 8 indicates whether the data is written in the register file 1 at a former step or not. In a recovery processing routine after detecting the trouble, a control means restores the data in the register file 1 to the state before it is rewritten based on the content of the first and second registers 6 and 7 when the information is decided to be rewritten in the register file 1. Thus, the possibility which the instruction can be retried is remarkably raised. |
