A peristaltic pump comprises a pump body consisting of an elastically deformable tube which abuts on a section of a fixed cylindrical wall and which protrudes at either end from said section of a cylindrical wall, and a plurality of satellites of equal diameter loosely mounted on a support plate. The satellites compress the tube against the section of the cylindrical wall and are entrained in rotation by friction against a planetary roller coaxial with the cylindrical wall. The section of the cylindrical wall (1') is prolonged, between the two ends of the tube (2), by a distance piece (3) formed by a second, coaxial or planetary section of the cylindrical wall. The distance (l) between the second wall and the axis (A) of the planetary roller (4) is approximately equal to the distance (L) between the first wall (1') and the axis (A) of the planetary roller minus twice the width (E) of the wall of the tube, and the sum of the radius (R) of the planetary roller (4) and the diameter (D) of a satellite (5) is approximately equal to the distance (l) between the second wall (3) and the axis (A) of the planetary roller (4). Application to pumps.
