PURPOSE:To make it possible to record a predetermined pattern to an object to be recorded, by a method wherein ink is supplied to a nozzle under pressure and vibration with definite frequency is applied to pulverize the ink into particles which are, in turn, adequately charged to be electrically deflected. CONSTITUTION:After a search signal is detected by a charge detecter 21 to be amplified, the amplified signal is converted to a binary signal by a comparator 23 and said binary signal is treated by a central processing unit (CPU)24 to determine ink pulverizing timing while the printing phase information thereof is applied to a phase synchronous circuit 29. On the other hand, the information of a character to be printed and the information of the presence or the absence of printing phase shift printing are transmitted to CPU24 through an interface 26 from a panel input part 27 which in turn outputs character data to a character data latch 30. By controlling this timing by the phase synchronizing circuit 29, the control of a charging phase is performed and the digital output value of the character data latch 30 is converted to an analogue value by a D/A converter 31 while the analogue value is amplified by an amplifier 32 to charge ink particles. |
