<p>A plasmid containing: (1) a first DNA region having a DNA sequence coding a polypeptide with an oncostatic activity, a DNA sequence having the promoter function of controlling expression of the polypeptide, and a DNA sequence coding a signal peptide, and (2) a second DNA region having a DNA sequence giving host cells the action of accelerating extracellular secretion and a DNA sequence having the promoter function of controlling expression of the DNA sequence; microbial cells transformed by said plasmid; a process for producing a polypeptide with an oncostatic activity through extracellular secretion using said cells; and a polypeptide with an oncostatic activity secreted from said cells are disclosed.</p> |
