MANUFACTURE OF PHOTOGRAPH BY PHOTOMECHANICAL PROCESS

PURPOSE:To simplify work for a photomechanical process by subjecting a transparent material to physical or chemical deformation, holding the material between two polarizing plates, and changing the position of one or both of the polarizing plates to select a desired image. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a transparent body 1 is deformed. The body 1 is held berween polarizing plates 3, a desired color pattern is formed, and after fixing the positional relation, a photograph is manufactured by a photomechanical process. Work for the process is remarkably simplified, and since the polarizing plates are utilized, the color pattern of the resulting image is extremely full of variety. Various photographs can be simply manufacture.
