PURPOSE:To promote the durability of the captioned valve by combining a plunger and a rod made of magnetic materials to construct a movable part in one body by caulking at an eccentric position from the center of a rod groove for ensuring the caulking. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic fuel injection valve attracts a plunger 2 against a spring when current is supplied to an excitement coil 5, and thereby rises a rod 3 and a ball valve 8 provided in one body with a plunger 2 to separate them from a seat face 11 of a nozzle 14 for injecting fuel from an orifice 20. At this stage, for combining the plunger 2 and the rod 3 in one body by caulking, the punching position is set to be eccentric from the groove center of the rod 3 for caulking, and this eccentric caulking is processed in two directions C-C and D-D. This construction permits to deform the plunger 2 for caulking against both tapered parts of the groove of the rod 3, and obtain sure combination. |
