PURPOSE:To improve operability of zero point regulation, by a method wherein a cooker is provided with a putting discriminating means, detecting whether a putting disc is put on a weight sensor, and an informing means informing operating information. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 10 is descended and a discriminating switch 24 is put ON by putting a rotary dish 7 and a putting disc 8. When a zero point regulating key is operated by mistake without putting the rotary dish 7 and a putting disc 8 upon regulating zero point, the shaft 10 does not descend, therefore, the discriminating switch 24 is left opened. In this case, any signal is not outputted, therefore, a micro-computer 29 judges that the rotary dish 7 and the putting disc 8 are not being put on. In addition to such open circuit, operating information to promote regular operation is indicated by the microcomputer 29 through a fluorescent indicating tube 5 upon the faulty operation of the zero point regulating key.
