PURPOSE:To eliminate unpleasantness of a normal user, to prevent the unjust use of a card and to give an effective alarm by providing a user detecting means and giving the alarm in accordance with the condition of the presence or absence of the card when the user leaves from a device main body. CONSTITUTION:When the user enters a prescribed distance for a telephone set, the detecting signal of a user detector 11 goes to H, and user presence condition is obtained. At the time of off-hook, a hook switch 9 goes to H and callable condition is obtained by inputting the card. Thereafter, by the on-hook after calling completion, the switch 9 returns to L. The card is carried to a card return port 4, and when a card detector 14 detects the card, a card presence signal is outputted in H condition. Here, when the user forgets to pick up the card, leaves from the telephone set, and the detector 11 detects the user absence, an alarm lamp 6 is lit up by a control device 7. Thus, when the user picks up the card and card absence condition is obtained, the lamp 6 is lit off and a series of action is completed. When the left card is not picked up, it is carried and preserved in the collecting device in the main body after a prescribed time.
