PURPOSE:To enhance working efficiency by eliminating the necessity for arranging leg parts in a shifted state, by inserting a cardboard having a through-hole in the leg part of socks and turning the residual part thereof to fold the same and subsequently grasping the socks by twofold decorative paper so as to expose the part having a through-hole and receiving the whole in a transparent bag to seal said bag. CONSTITUTION:A square through-hole 8 is provided to cardboard 7 constituted of thick paper. The cardboard 7 is inserted in one leg part 9 of panty hose while the panty hose are folded double in the width direction so as to bring the other leg part 10 to the under side and the leg part 9 is brought to the upper side and the residual part of the cardboard is turned to the back side thereof in the length direction to be turned back. The article to be packed is grasped from the lateral side by twofold decorative paper 5 and the whole is received in a transparent bag to seal said bag. At this time, light and shade parts a, b appear in appearance and river flow appearance same to conventional one is obtained.
