PURPOSE:To output an input voice as a voice with a different band without interruption by inputting a digitized sound signal to a memory at an input sampling frequency and outputting the sound signal at an output sampling frequency. CONSTITUTION:A voice inputted from a microphone 1 is converted into a digital signal consisting of 8 bits by an A/D converter 4. The digital data is stored in a memory B at the fixed sampling frequency. The input sampling frequency is determined by a clock signal sent from a selector 10. Thus, the sound signal inputted to the memory 8 is outputted from the memory 8 and latched to a data switching circuit 5. Then, the data converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter 15 in accordance with a command from a timing generating circuit 6 and voice is outputted from a speaker 18. When the ratio of input and output sampling frequency values is 1/2, a voice higher than the original voice by one octave is obtained, and when the ratio is 2, a voice lower than the original voice by one octave can be obtained. |
