PURPOSE:To easily confirm a present position in plural operation procedures by an operator based on output from a display control part, by inputting an operation instruction required for the prescribed processing item of a document or a graphic by an input means, and displaying the information of the plural operation procedures based on an indicated instruction. CONSTITUTION:Plural operations required for a prescribed purpose with respect to the document or the graphite are instructed by the input means 1 in a document and graphic processor, and inputted plural operation procedures are stored in a storage means 2. Also, a display control part 3 inputs the indicated instruction from the means 1 and applies control to display the information with respect to all of the operation procedures or a partial operation procedure including at least the operation procedure ought to be performed at the next step on a display means 4 based on the procedure stored in the storage means 2. The information with respect to the operation procedure is displayed on a display procedure based on the output of the control part 3, and thereby, the display of an operation means can be easily confirmed by the operator.
